Reflexology at Home in Handcross and Pease Pottage
Handcross sits just off the A23 south of Crawley, and most people know it for Nymans, the National Trust garden right beside the High Street. Locals know it for rather more than that: the primary school at the north end of the village, the Red Lion on the High Street, and High Beeches Garden just down the road. A few minutes north, Pease Pottage sits on the southern edge of Crawley, where the A264 from Horsham meets the M23 and the A23.
Both are in Slaugham parish, along with Slaugham village itself, where St Mary's Church looks across the green. I come to all of them, bringing everything I need, so you get an hour of reflexology at home.
What I Offer
There are three sessions to choose from, and I bring the reclining chair, couch roll, towels and blankets with me, so all you need is a corner of the living room.
Full Reflexology (60 minutes, £45): A proper hour on the feet, taken slowly. It's the one I'd suggest if you simply want to switch off.
Express Reflexology (30 minutes, £30): A shorter visit that suits a first try, or a day when an hour isn't there to be found.
Couples Reflexology (£80, 60 minutes each): Two of you, one after the other, on the same visit. Partners book it, and so do friends and family.
If you'd like to make it a regular thing, a Course of 3 is £120 and a Course of 5 is £190. Gift vouchers start from £30. Everything is laid out on the services page.
No Drive Home Afterwards
A home visit means there's no drive home afterwards. I arrive, set up in a corner of your living room, and when we're done you stay put. Staplefield, a little further south on the B2114 with St Mark's Church and its cricket green, works just the same way.
What Reflexology Is (and Isn't)
Reflexology is a gentle, hands-on way to relax. It's a complementary therapy rather than a medical one: it doesn't treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, and if something is worrying you, your GP is the right first port of call. I'm fully qualified with a Diploma in Reflexology, a member of the Association of Reflexologists, fully insured and DBS checked. If you'd like to know what happens on the day, I've written about your first session.

Questions People Ask
Do you come to Pease Pottage as well as Handcross? Yes. Pease Pottage, Handcross, Slaugham and Staplefield are all on my list, and the session prices are the same in each.
What do I need to provide? Just a warm room and a little space. I bring my reclining chair, couch roll, towels and blankets, and pets are welcome to stay.
Is it just a foot massage? No, although it's very relaxing. Reflexology uses specific pressure techniques on the feet. My blog explains the difference between reflexology and massage.
Can I buy a session as a present? Yes. Gift vouchers start from £30 and can be used for any of my sessions.
I've never had reflexology. Where should I start? Most first-timers book the Express session, 30 minutes for £30. If you enjoy it, the Full session is an hour for £45.
