Reflexology at Home in Cuckfield
Cuckfield is a lovely place to visit in Mid Sussex. The High Street and Broad Street are full of old buildings, Holy Trinity Church dates from the 13th century and has windows by Charles Eamer Kempe, and the Queen's Hall, built in 1897, houses the museum and library. The village emblem is the cuckoo, which you'll spot around the place once you start looking.
Just north, at Whitemans Green, there's a monument to Gideon Mantell. In 1822 his wife Mary Ann found some of the first known iguanodon fossils near there. To the west of the village is Cuckfield Park, the Elizabethan house where the bonfire night celebrations are held. I come to homes across Cuckfield, Whitemans Green and Ansty, bringing everything with me.
What I Offer
I keep it simple. I bring everything to your door: my reclining chair, couch roll, towels and blankets. You choose the session.
Full Reflexology (60 minutes, £45): A proper hour on the feet, taken slowly. It's the one I'd suggest if you simply want to switch off.
Express Reflexology (30 minutes, £30): Half an hour, a good low-commitment way to find out whether you like it.
Couples Reflexology (£80, 60 minutes each): I see two of you back to back during one visit, so one of you can put the kettle on while the other has their turn.
Courses bring the price down: three sessions for £120 or five for £190. And if you're buying for someone else, gift vouchers start from £30. Full details are on the services page.
Why a Home Visit Suits Cuckfield
Cuckfield's centre is charming, but fitting an appointment elsewhere around work and family is another matter. A home visit sidesteps all that. I arrive with my reclining chair and blankets, you put your feet up, and when we've finished there's no drive home. Ansty, a mile or so south-west where the A272 meets the B2036, is just the same.
What Reflexology Is (and Isn't)
Reflexology is a gentle, hands-on way to relax. It's a complementary therapy rather than a medical one: it doesn't treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, and if something is worrying you, your GP is the right first port of call. I'm fully qualified with a Diploma in Reflexology, a member of the Association of Reflexologists, fully insured and DBS checked. If you'd like to know what happens on the day, I've written about your first session.
