Reflexology at Home in Mannings Heath

Mannings Heath is only a short drive south-east of Horsham along the A281, but it feels a world away from town. There's the village green with the cricket ground, the Church of the Good Shepherd, the village hall, and the golf club and wine estate on the edge of the village. Further down the road, Monks Gate sits at the junction with Nuthurst Road, and Nuthurst itself is a quiet cluster around St Andrew's Church and the primary school on Nuthurst Street.

Head the other way and you reach Lower Beeding, centred on Holy Trinity Church where the B2115 meets the B2110. It's an easy run for me from just south of Horsham, so getting to you is straightforward.

What I Offer

I keep it simple. I bring everything to your door: my reclining chair, couch roll, towels and blankets. You choose the session.

Full Reflexology (60 minutes, £45): A proper hour on the feet, taken slowly. It's the one I'd suggest if you simply want to switch off.

Express Reflexology (30 minutes, £30): Half an hour, a good low-commitment way to find out whether you like it.

Couples Reflexology (£80, 60 minutes each): I see two of you back to back during one visit, so one of you can put the kettle on while the other has their turn.

Courses bring the price down: three sessions for £120 or five for £190. And if you're buying for someone else, gift vouchers start from £30. Full details are on the services page.

Gardens, Woods and Winding Roads

Out here, home is often down a long drive or a lane with no pavement, which is exactly why I work the way I do. If you've spent the afternoon walking in St Leonard's Forest or wandering round Leonardslee Gardens, which are at their best in May, a home session is a good way to end the day. There's no drive home afterwards, and you can stay where you are with a cup of tea while the house goes quiet.

What Reflexology Is (and Isn't)

Reflexology is a gentle, hands-on way to relax. It's a complementary therapy rather than a medical one: it doesn't treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, and if something is worrying you, your GP is the right first port of call. I'm fully qualified with a Diploma in Reflexology, a member of the Association of Reflexologists, fully insured and DBS checked. If you'd like to know what happens on the day, I've written about your first session.

Questions People Ask

Do you come out to Lower Beeding and Crabtree? Yes. Lower Beeding and its hamlets, including Crabtree, Ashfold Crossways and Plummer's Plain, are all on my list.

What if I'm down a long drive or a farm track? That's fine. Just let me know where to park and roughly how to find you, and I'll bring my chair in from the car.

How much space do I need? A corner of the living room is plenty. I set up a reclining chair, and you stay fully clothed apart from your shoes and socks.

Can two of us book on the same visit? Yes. Couples Reflexology is £80 for two 60-minute sessions, one after the other, so I only need to come out once.
