Reflexology at Home in Dorking
If you live around Dorking, you probably already know that finding a therapist who'll come to you can be tricky. The Surrey Hills are beautiful, but they're not exactly overflowing with wellness clinics. Dorking and the villages around it are part of my regular patch, and I love working out here.
Whether you're in Westcott, Holmwood, Beare Green, or Ockley, I'll bring everything I need and set up wherever you're most comfortable. Your sofa, your favourite chair, wherever works. You get a proper treatment without having to go anywhere, and afterwards you can just stay put and let it sink in.
What I Offer
I have three sessions available. An Express session is £30 for 30 minutes, which is a good starting point if you've never tried reflexology and want to see what it's about. A full session is £45 for an hour, which gives me time to work through all the reflex points properly and is what most of my Dorking clients book. If you'd like to share the experience, a couples session is £80 and I'll treat you both, one after the other.
I also do course packages (three sessions for £120, or five for £190) for people who want to come back regularly. A lot of my clients around Dorking started with a single session and then booked a course once they felt the difference. Have a look at the full services page for all the details.
Why Choose a Mobile Reflexologist?
Anyone who's tried to park in Dorking on a Saturday will understand why mobile reflexology makes sense. But parking aside, the real benefit is what happens after your treatment. When you've just had an hour of reflexology, you feel genuinely relaxed, sometimes a bit sleepy. The last thing you want is to get in a car. At home, you can make a cup of tea, close your eyes for twenty minutes, and let your body do what it needs to do.
I also notice that clients relax more quickly when they're in their own space. There's no adjusting to an unfamiliar room or wondering if the next person is waiting outside the door. It's just you, in your home, with your own things around you. If you've never had reflexology before, I've written about what to expect at your first appointment so you know exactly what's involved.
What Reflexology Is (and Isn't)
I'm careful about what I claim here, because reflexology is a complementary therapy rather than a medical treatment. It doesn't treat or cure any condition, and if you have a health worry the right first stop is your GP, or your midwife if you're pregnant. What I can tell you is what I hear from clients. Most often it's that they sleep more soundly on the night of a treatment, and that they feel calmer for a few days afterwards. Some small studies suggest reflexology may support relaxation and general wellbeing, though the evidence is mixed. Either way, I'm fully qualified, fully insured and a member of the Association of Reflexologists, so you know your feet are in careful hands.
