Reflexology at Home in Charlwood
Charlwood is one of those Surrey villages that surprises people. It sits right on the north-west side of Gatwick, yet around The Street you'll find St Nicholas' Church, which is Grade I listed and has wall paintings dating from around 1300. There's a recreation ground, a village hall and a primary school, and Glover's Wood to the west is known for its bluebells in spring.
I have a soft spot for Providence Chapel, the weatherboarded chapel north of the village, which was moved here from Horsham in 1816. I'm making the same journey, just with a reclining chair in the boot.
What I Offer
I keep it simple. I bring everything to your door: my reclining chair, couch roll, towels and blankets. You choose the session.
Full Reflexology (60 minutes, £45): A proper hour on the feet, taken slowly. It's the one I'd suggest if you simply want to switch off.
Express Reflexology (30 minutes, £30): Half an hour, a good low-commitment way to find out whether you like it.
Couples Reflexology (£80, 60 minutes each): I see two of you back to back during one visit, so one of you can put the kettle on while the other has their turn.
Courses bring the price down: three sessions for £120 or five for £190. And if you're buying for someone else, gift vouchers start from £30. Full details are on the services page.
A Quiet Hour Near the Airport
If you work shifts, as plenty of people near Gatwick do, fitting in an appointment somewhere else can be a real faff. A home visit cuts that out. I come to you, and once we've finished you don't have to go anywhere. If you've been out on the Sussex Border Path, round Glover's Wood or at the Gatwick Aviation Museum on the edge of the airport, it's a nice way to finish the day.
What Reflexology Is (and Isn't)
Reflexology is a gentle, hands-on way to relax. Lots of people book simply to switch off and unwind. It's a complementary therapy rather than a medical one: it doesn't treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, and if something is worrying you, your GP is the right first port of call. I'm fully qualified with a Diploma in Reflexology, a member of the Association of Reflexologists, fully insured and DBS checked. If you'd like to know what happens on the day, I've written about your first session.

Questions People Ask
Do you really come out as far as Charlwood? Yes. It's at the northern edge of where I go, so I try to group visits in this area. Get in touch and we'll find a time that works.
Do you cover Hookwood and Norwood Hill? Yes, along with Russ Hill. If you're in Charlwood parish, I'll come to you.
Is the price different because it's further? Travel is included in my prices for everywhere listed here, so there are no hidden extras. If you're further out, just ask and I'll let you know.
What do I need to do before you arrive? Very little. A warm room, a corner of the living room and somewhere to park. I bring the chair, couch roll, towels and blankets.
Is reflexology suitable during pregnancy? I don't offer reflexology in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. After that, just mention it when you book and we can talk it through.
