Reflexology at Home in Ashington
Ashington sits just off the A24, about three miles north-east of Storrington. Its main roads include London Road, Billingshurst Road and Rectory Lane, and the Church of St Peter and St Paul, the primary school and the community centre are all in the village.
I come to homes right across the village and out to the smaller places nearby, so you get your reflexology at home rather than heading off somewhere else for it. Ashurst, a couple of miles west of Henfield, has the 12th-century Church of St James and a primary school, and I visit there too.
What I Offer
There are three sessions to choose from, and I bring the reclining chair, couch roll, towels and blankets with me, so all you need is a corner of the living room.
Full Reflexology (60 minutes, £45): A proper hour on the feet, taken slowly. It's the one I'd suggest if you simply want to switch off.
Express Reflexology (30 minutes, £30): A shorter visit that suits a first try, or a day when an hour isn't there to be found.
Couples Reflexology (£80, 60 minutes each): Two of you, one after the other, on the same visit. Partners book it, and so do friends and family.
If you'd like to make it a regular thing, a Course of 3 is £120 and a Course of 5 is £190. Gift vouchers start from £30. Everything is laid out on the services page.
Downs, Byways and Staying Put
Ashington is well placed for the A24, but the villages around it are a different story. Ashurst sits on the B2135, west of the River Adur. Wiston is a scattered parish along the A283, and Chanctonbury Ring sits on its edge. Buncton is tiny, with its Grade I listed All Saints Church. None of them are places you'd want to drive out of on a winter evening. A home visit means you don't have to. When we're done, you stay on the sofa and let the calm settle.
What Reflexology Is (and Isn't)
Reflexology is a gentle, hands-on way to relax. It's a complementary therapy rather than a medical one: it doesn't treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, and if something is worrying you, your GP is the right first port of call. I'm fully qualified with a Diploma in Reflexology, a member of the Association of Reflexologists, fully insured and DBS checked. If you'd like to know what happens on the day, I've written about your first session.

Questions People Ask
Do you come out to Ashurst and Wiston? Yes. Ashurst, Wiston and Buncton are all on my list, along with Ashington itself.
How long does a visit take? Allow a little longer than the session itself for setting up and packing away. A Full session is 60 minutes and an Express session is 30.
Can I bring my dog into the room? Of course. Pets are welcome, so there's no need to shut anyone out.
Can I buy a session for someone else? Yes. Gift vouchers start from £30 and can be used for any of my sessions.
Is reflexology suitable during pregnancy? I don't offer reflexology in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. After that, just mention it when you book and we can talk it through.
